I’m based in Australia but my target audience is global simply because of the nature of what I’m doing and we just have a relatively small population here.
How does this affect what location I should choose for my hosting / data centre?
I’m planning on getting a .com domain. But may also consider getting a .com.au domain too - but I would mainly use the .com one I would imagine. I’m not sure how the .com.au would play into it - could I also direct people that type in my .com.au to my .com website?
To be frank, I’ll be pretty small initially because I’m starting from nothing. So I’m not sure if other local domains are completely necessary
