Why does everyone hate adhearus

Ive heard a lot of comments about this recently...

What makes adhearus so bad. Im not supporting it or anything but why do loads of people hate it?

I'm not really too sure. I personally haven't tried it. I just would rather stick to adsense. Something I trust (And I believe that the click costs are higher).

Here is what a few people have said - personally I have never heard of them but I do hear negative things:

These folks are a joke as far as I'm concerned. They give out the wrong html codes for ads, I have tickets that are now open for just shy of 2 weeks, and they ads flat out suck. I had them on my sites for less thats a week. I saw four ads total. One for themselves, one for multilevel marketsing, one for a onlien college and a on line dating service.

There's not even a method for canceling my service with them. Every few days after pulling their code from my sites, they send me an email explaining how to put the code back on there. What a joke!

Anyhow. their countersystem seem to be flawed at least. Send them a good 20k impressions spread over the world for about a week they counted 2,189.

from what I've seen their count is garbage. I already had like 10,000 impressions when I opened the account. and I've since taken all the ads off (because it was CPC and they were only 2 ads in rotation from what I saw), and even since taking the ads off I have gotten like 25000 more impressions and like 19 clicks, that never came from me. I don't see much good coming from a company that is "giving" money away. And I've seen lots of spam coming from the owner on other boards

So it does seem that there might be a few problems with them

Looks like I'll stay with Adsense - haven't really had any problems with them...

well ive got an adsense account obviously which i mainly use but i did sign up with adhearus as a bit of a test. ill see how it goes

Python, if you don't mind sharing, how much are you making from Adsense in Dev Dreams at the moment?

You can't ask that mate - against the Google TOS... Could get you kicked off of the adsense programme

I wasn't going to say it - but he is right. Be careful - they can be picky over there at times

There's some exception or something; like scanning your checks which allows you to tell people what you're getting.

I think that it might be because it's not you but them who has written it.

Don't try it without getting confirmation, however.

what difference would it make who wrote the figures down - thats just pointless.

personally i think that their terms should allow you to tell anyone you like how much you are earning. afterall if anything happens to it then it would be your fault.

they are just not as good at targetting advertisements plus they have a smaller support base.
