ive also worked on a few othersites for people but tese arnt my sites
Hmm... Tony, you can consider moving you free site (geocities) to something that is also free but more sophisticated - e.g. AnyXhost.com or 100Webspace.com.
1 half-decent thats up and running... sort of...
Another in the works, part of a joint project...
Loads of other crap ones I did on geocities 2 years ago... lol Didn't count them.
Starting Y11 (last year) in Sep.
For those of you who are non-brits, At the end of the next year I do a whole load of exams then, If I want I go onto collage and work for a year and take AS exams, then work for another year and take A-level exams. After that I can go to Uni if I want. Uni courses vary in length, usually between 3 and 7 years...
A British friend I have introduced me a little bit to what British highschool's like.
I'm glad I'm a Canadian.
I'm going to college next year. But that doesn't mean I'm older than any of you, or a genious (though I is a self proclamed masturmind). It's just a school that lets me do that.
No one here but me understands Canadian schooling though. Not even the Americans, cause of all of their Ivy Leagues or whatever the hell.

In the UK, College is what you go to to do A levels or an equivelant ...
University is where you get a Degree.
ye ill probably go to college. do something with webdesign or computers
If I could find a course that would actually teach me something, I might go to Uni. The problem is, that the courses are so broad, you tend you get a lot of basic information about a lot of subjects. If there was an SEO degree or qualification I'd be really interested in that.
The most web orientated course that I have found is something like multimedia. Now we all know that is a pretty broad tag to put on a subject.
I think I would just get bored if I wasn't interested in the subject, or even just not turn up.
When I'm at work, I learn more than I ever did doing my A-levels. I love being able to learn something new and actually give it a practical use. Seeing your site on the first page of Google is the buzz I love to get from work.
It's a real tough world out there. A basic degree is one of the basic weapons you can arm yourself with. In many organizations, you won't even get an interview without a degree. Lots of people go back to university after many years at work - they wouldn't be doing so if it is not worth it.
Of course all the above applies only if you actually have the opportunity to do so. I know a lot of people who had to work first to pay their way through University.
A lot of people work to pay their way through while taking University and College, too.
But that's not the way to go about it IMHO unless you're going right out of highschool, in which I'd suggest taking a "loan" out from your parents. And forgetting to pay it back *cough cough*
you can get a loan from the government and you only pay that back plus the rat of inflation which is the best loan your ever gonna get in your life so you may aswel take advantage of it

I like money WAY too much to go to Uni. I did love college though. So glad I did that instead of staying on at sixth form.
SEBasic, if you have the chance, go to Uni - period!
