ok not sure if this is the rite place or not but im sure it will be moved if its not
my host doesnt have awstats http://awstats.sourceforge.net/

so iw as wondering if anyone knew if i could upload it to my space and set it up to run from there?

ive asked him to install it, hees a reseller so he asked the main company they said no

thats just stupid for them to say no. it would help them because they would then have more features to offer

i know but theyre also a big company and my £20 for a years hosting isnt much to them so they can say no

I do not use them but I was installing them on another server & accidentally downloaded the wrong ones. It looked like just webpages. So could you actually use that?

i paid for 12 months upfront only did it last month
i could keep harassing him but its not his fault so id end up feeling tight on him

i knew what i was getting when i singed up
and servers are great , 100% uptime so far and theyre pretty fast hes always there so i have no qualms about what i paid for, its just 1 thing im missing

they have webalizer, and a few others that are useless

Yeah one of our clients was witha hosting company using webalizer. Whe I showed him those stats compared to SmarterStats, he dropped them immediately

i dont think so but i might be wrong. you should check their readme file and see if it says anything about independant installations.

There are some offline log analyzers too, I believe. You should Google it.

If you have Cpanel you can download them right from there.
