i read that this auction was up a while ago but ebay closed it down because in their TOS your not allowde to sell any body parts. because the gum had DNA in it this was against the rules.

then it was reopened. only difference was the wording of the description.

Anyway, I do think think that the sale is enforceable. It's probably somebody bidding for the fun of it - without intentions to actually buy the thing.

Let's think of it this way, if I had USD 16 million, I'd pay Britney to personally come to my room and chew 20 bars of gum for me. Who knows... for that price, there may even be value-added-services...
