The colors work really well! How about a few small graphics/photos just to make the design a little more interesting. Either way, I like your idea. Keep working on it.

I have 2 comments - pretty much the same as what was already said though...

1. Color scheme is good
2. I suggest you use some graphics for the lists

i dont quite understand what you mean. do you mean small sort of bullet points done as a graphic in frint of each link or the whole link being a graphic...or something else
