CMS design

Hey guys.

I need to design a real basic Content Management System.

I know the basics of ColdFusion. I have ColdFusion on my servers. I would love to use this.

The problem is, that I don't know enough about Databases and backend languages to produce a CMS myself.

Does anyone have any experience in this area.

I hate clients who can't use HTML. lol!

Any ideas would be appreciated.

BTW, I need to use an Access DB as I Don't know anything about SQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

Please help!!

So you know CF and want to use an Acces DB, but don't know PHP or mySQL and want to use them? Looks like you've got some reading to do

If possible, I would rather NOT use PHP of MySQL.

Like you say, I don't have the time to learn. lol

I just need some input into how I would go about building a CMS and the tools I would need to do it. If I need PHP then so be it...

so you just want to use CF?

I've never looked into CF, so I'm not sure of its limits. All you need is a database really. You could use files to store your content but it isn't worth the trouble.

CF is great. expensive to host but soooooooooooo easy to learn. lol

I am still learning it and as a result don't really know it's limits either

Well if your lookin' for portability and speed (and price ) then PHP and mySQL combo is the way to go. If you already know CF, and don't care about anything else then there's no reason to switch to something else.

Yeah I guess so.

I have been spending DAYS looking for some good CF CMS tutorials, But no joy.

If anyone finds a good one, please let me know.
