Would you chose a Hyphen domain or use .us? Advice Needed

Hi, I need to buy a domain for an online store business but the ".com" ending is around $4K/year. There are two available domains that are kinda similar to my target domain but the first one has a hyphen on it but ends in ".com" and the second one is the same as my target domain but ends in ".us"

loremipsum.com (target domain)

lorem-ipsum.com (not expensive but available)

loremipsum.us (not expensive but available)

Which one do you think is a better choice in general? would appreciate all the help/advice.

no hyphens! They are often forgotten and think about how awkward they are on TV or radio.

That is unless you live in Germany where they are popular/accepted.
