With minimal traffic and effort I scrape up a few extra bucks here and there with it. I'm more interested to see how it does on my music site as that is not intended to be revenue-generating at all so I could use some $$ to cover costs.
aenigma, well, should still be enough to cover hosting costs? I guess that's the great thing about Adsense for small timers (or very small timers ) like us.
Adsense is doing ok for me, but I'd like to have it go up a lot more, so I can invest that money on advertising or other projects. What I suggest to people who start with their site and adsense is to use the first few checks to get your site up correctly with a lot of advertising. That way your earnings will increase a lot. More visitors is more chance of clicks, more pages is more chance of clicks. So don't be like woohoo my first cheque, but be more like ok this is my first step to dominate the world with my oh wait scrap that I mean yeah just invest in your website, I mean that money is earned by your website so spend it on it again and see the money rise ( if you do it properly )
Advertising (at least what I learnt in business school and what I see at work) works like this:
1. If you have a product to sell, you use adverts to get people to come and have a look at your product - hoping that those who take the effort actually is interested enough to buy
2. If you use advertising to promote your site and selling adverts is your main product, you lose money...
it doesn't matter how you do it... maybe you do only what you're saying... maybe klaas his idea and some other things... what does it matter? its just the point your happy with it.. and now to get on topic, Adsense is doing his job great:) $8 at 1 day!:) and i only got adsense now for the third day... Thank you PYthon!

Get adsense here : http://www.google.com/adsense
http://www.thekey.it
do you mean that you are being validated? if so then that means that your site is not up to scratch with their requirements

My 2 cents...
How has being able to advertise in many ways got to do with what I've just posted?
