We should really open a new post if we have a new question. That way the numbers will rise and people will be more interested in joining.

At the moment, the posts are basically just conversations.

If anyone doesn't know how to do something, or they get stuck (on any work you do related to WebDev) they should create a new post. As it is, there are not enought questions being asked and as a result there are no anwsers to be given.

Without regular new topics, IMHO the site will flop.

That would be a shame as I think it has a lot of potential.

Python, have you thought of using doorway pages to attract visitors?

It's a grey SE area but could get some results

but i like forums were you can just chat about things that you like and every1 has a diff opinions.

I aggree, That is good.

There are however forums designed for that.

This forum, it seems clear to me (correct me if I am wrong Python) is a WebDev forum.

It is here for Web related discussions.

Everyone has thier own opinion and I respect that.

However, going completley off topic in a thread is not the way forums are designed to be used.

1 thread=lot's of opinions

this forumwas built so people could come and ask web related questions. in fact even if its not web related id be happy for them to ask.

i agree that each question should have its own thread!

I agree that new questions should have new threads, instead of the ol' thread hijackers.

But, as a mod and admin elsewhere, if a thread becomes a conversation about "nothing", then it doesn't have any place in niche forums. Those would consist of "Hey, I'm here", "good for you", "Sup?", "nada", etc. I think you understand what I mean.
