what about this design?

i was gonna use a CMS but after it being a ball ache to work out how to use, i decided php include is just a great feature and didnt need to learn a CMS and i can still get the type of layout im after

so anyway i came up with this design, what do you think?

theres no logo yet, as i thought id see if i could get a good design first then work on a logo or get someone to come up with a designfor me

i think that the text needs a different colour. make it stand out a bit more. and perhaps make the text of the navigation headers bold

ive already changed it to bold text on my design
any suggestions for what colour the main textshould be?

not exactly sure what colour but make it a bit darker. this goes for the nav links and content text. they could be the same or slightly different

yeah, a dakr blue should work good. perhaps you should also put some sort of outline goig around the boxes..just to close it in more
