google is deffinately not the best site in the world. it maye be very useful but it is not the best.
im not really sure which is the best because in my opinion there are hundreds of sites out there which could be usful to me

I think it's natural for us to love our own sites, we've spent many hours working on them, after all.

But besides that, I'm going to say Slashdot. I just love that place.
