GMail invites - strange

Python

Earlier on today I sent in invite to one of my friends(who at the time was sitting next to me) so I sent the invite to my own gmail account and then clicked on it and signed my friend up. he has now got a gmail accont. but the strange thing is that I still have 6 invites available


I might be wrong but perhaps if you send an invite to a gmail email address you dont actually use up an invite.

anyone else know anything on this?

i always have 6 no matter how many i send out

although usually it takes an hour to go back upto 6
