Import flash into PowerPoint

I was asked today whether flash animations can be inserted into powerpoint slideshows?

Can they and if yes, how?

I'm fairly sure that is not possible. Unless there is a third party utility that does that.

You can play animated Gifs... and you can save flash moviesas .gif...
So in theroy it's possible.
Publish as a gif and in Publisher you would have to do something like:
Insert > File > TheThing.gif...

Yes, that's true - but not all features of a Flash movie can be published as a GIF.

Yes it is absolutely right that you can insert flash movie into powerpoint 2010,but you have to manually insert the flash file in powerpoint 2003 or 2007 version for sure.
