Well the other day In my IT lessons in school my teacher asked me if I was interested in doing AS this year on top of GCSE because im finding the normal work way too easy.

So it looks like I might be taking more than one exam this year for IT.

And I just read about whats needed to complete the course and apparently the exam is 15 hours long. Not constant but wow, thats one heck of an exam.

i did a level ICT ok not IT but its worth double AS level and i did about 2 1 hour exams i think it was mostly based on coursework

if i was you id jack in the GCSE IT and just do the AS seriously its easy i spent most of my time in the pub and still came out with 2 a levels

lol, well ive got a load of sheets in front of me right now which says there is a 15 hour assesment at the end of the year.

and no im not going to just pack in my GCSE'S, Ill do them simply because their so easy, lol

well your from wales must be different there but when i did a levels it was mostly coursework based and i spent 2 hours at the most on exams

yes i do of course have to do coursework and I think its 60% coursework...i might be wrong though

mine was 80% coursework so 20% less shouldnt result in 13 hours extra in an exam hall

Hmmm.. coursework counts for A levels now? I did 5 A Level (Associated Examining Board) subjects (I'd admit it's really long ago) and it's 100% exams.

If it's anything like GCSE's then it's quite flexible...
For example, in ReligiousStudies everyone in my year is doing 5 topics, not 4 but we arnt doing Coursework... 100% exam. Thats because the teacher wants to just make us learn everything for the one exam at the end....
But you can do only 4 topics and 1 piece of coursework...
So if AS and A Levels are the same then...
