Just evaluate each, and brainstorm which you'd enjoy better if you can't have both.

Personally, I think that if you like going to the gym, them you can keep doing it in your spare time...
I do.
I love Web Dev too much to give it up.
the thing with both of these occupations is that they can both be hobbies or jobs, which si where the problem is, if only 1 could be a hobby then id have no problem deciding

When you're young (I believe you're 20) life's a breeze and you feel invincible. You do the things you want to do. You are anti-establishment. When advice is given, you feel that your life is being dictated.
Life's not that easy when you have a family and a mortgage to pay. Money and respect becomes way, way, way more important later in life.
What I suggest is that you get a degree that will make you unique - a career that not any tom, **** and harry can jump into. Example - any person can just take up a course and become a personal trainer - whether a good one or a bad one is a different story. Not everyone can become a lawyer, doctor or engineer without having gone through the proper school.
I have 2 close friends - one who did a not so 'unique' doctorate in Cambridge and the other one read accountancy in a small unknown University. The accountant's working in a European bank earning almost 3 times as much as the other. At our age, this matters.
Is it not possible to do a course on both?
You'll ahve very little spare time, but if yuor doing 2 courses on the things you love most, then live should be fun anyway.
that way you have time to find out what you really want to do and with any luck, will always have the qualificatioins to fall back on in the future!
Good luck!!
so doing my HND/Degree in web design, an NVQ in health and fitnes and working, i wouldnt have ANY time, and then theres the cost id be in a lot of debt by the time i finished, which defeats the object,
non of these jobs are particulaly high paid (with the odd exception like trainer tot he rich and famous, or designing/building sites for huge companies) but web design is slghtly more at the moment
i was tempted to give this web design course a go for a year if i like it stick with it, if i dont then i can always quit and do a course in health and fitness and i will only be 20/21- then about 22/23 when i finish it, and id still be able to design some sites as id have already been taught some java and asp.
You can learn an awful lot about web dev online, without going to a course.
Thats how I know all the HTML CSS and the PHP basics taht I do. I just read tutorials...
So you could do the fitness course and learn web dev at home as much or as little as you like or can afford to.
Then, whatever career you decide to take your safe.
With the Gym stuff, you have the qualification, with the web dev, you will know lots and can continue learning while you work.
And most people won't ask if you have qualifications for web dev anyway.
Hope I helped
1. How much does a reasonably successful gym instructor make after he's been at it for 10 years?
2. The same question for a web designer/graphic artist?
From what I gather, you like both - so that needn't be factored in.
