MSN Messenger 7 Beta

Well Microsoft has now given out some beta's of MSN 7.0 for testing. It is supposed to be coming out end of this year.

Its packed with loads more features including a 'wink' and 'nudge' system where you can attract your contacts attention by making the window shake...sound kind of strange

any one know any more on this?

I know that you can download the released Beta version from http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/10/4/1/10-4-1-128.shtml I won't be trying the beta version because there's usually a heep load of problems by microsoft also it has bad reviews in the above link, but who know's when microsoft release a stable version ill give it a try out.

yeah same here. I probably wouldnt do any beta testing for it but I will deffinately be downloading it once all the problems/bugs are sorted out

They need to step away from PC and make a duplicate of the already PC Messenger for Mac (I still can't play games)

Yes, but its the equivolent of MSN 4.0 for windows....

Why are you guys tinkering with beta versions - you don't get paid so why bother testing something for an organization as rich as microsoft?
