Anyone Have private server?

Hey all, my uncle is doing me a kind favor and is creating me a web server from a scrap comp he has. The best thing is i get 6 terabytes of bandwith (like ill use it) LoL. But does anyone have there own like me?

Yah, Im definately going to host sites for free, or charge. (free for friends), and it'll be great to have that little box right next to my side.

This doesnt mean try to be friends with me now.

i recently used apache on my own computer just to test php lol
caus you need to publish php to vieuw it
but forge, the server you get, is it fast? or just normal broadband?

Im guessing its fast. My uncle said that it had a prob so it got stalled. Which sucks.. But im sure it'll be fast. I'm going to load it with nice hardware.

what internet connection does your uncle has then? if its gonna be fast, and want to be able it can held more than 5 people downloading stuff from it, you realy are gonna use a fast server, when i was using apache on my computer, every 1 sayd it loaded slowly, and i got olmost 1 mb download 200/300 kb upload... so, realy, you gonna need a reliable and fast connection on it:)
