I open something in Word 97 and then save it as html to get the vlink then I open the page in Internet Explorer and right click to get at the source and figure my way in from there. Close source. Save. Refresh browser. Look at changes. Cringe or grin. I'm beginning to grin a bit more these days.
I'm loving it. Damn loving it. I'm a screenwriter-director by trade but I love making gifs and animations and stuff and I've always loved the web, the look, flashing gifs, the architecture of a site and all and so to take a break from a screenplay I'm writing and to bring in some kish-kash I decided to make something and put it up.
I'm sure you've all been at this stage before: when the light dawns and you begin to see a site there behind that notepad of code it's as cool as anything in the world . It's like the opposite way round to when Neo sees the code behind the matrix at the end of 'The Matrix' but just as dope.

Looking forward to it. I'm a relative newby myself - but I have a strong programming background so it'd be easier for me to pick things up
Look at their HTML tutorial.
It makes everything really clear and stuf... lol
Good Luck!
