Hi as some of you may have seen, im planning on making a new site about something i love in an area that isnt over populated on the internet yet
so because of this i was thinking of selling my other site, does anyone know how people work out the value of websites?

12-24 months is very high IMO. not sure if someone can expect that kind of prices...
Very true but if someone wants the domain enough they will pay what every price a seller wants.. Domain names are so cheap if I don't get the price I want I'll just sit on it until I do get it...
I guess it is really depends how a buyer approaches you.. I think its a good way to ask for "what do you think the value is first" to make sure your both in same ball park. I tend to try not to "show my cards" during negociations just how I have learned to do business.
