Adsense CTR

For those of you using google adsense what is your average CTR(click through rate)?

Also what colour combinations do you find work best?

Its just I know you cant say how muh u earn... etc...

I wasnt too sure abotu this either but then I was told via PM a while back that CTR is fine since its not actually a 'real' statistic.

what does ctr actually show/do?

ctr stands for click through rate. it means the percentage of the total people that actually click on your ads

just dont go too crazy....the same thing happened with a friends account and his site was banned because google thought he was clicking himself....

on or two clicks a day is fine... just 50+ could cause problems.

CBG, doing stuff like that is definitely one of the reasons Adsense accounts get banned.

I have a business one cause I publish my code on 3 sites, soon 4.

Clicking on it a lot of times is absolutely sooner stupid then normal. Google track's Ip's and other things to be sure no fraudulent clicks are made. So if some one is clicking on it a lot of times a day, or even 2 times a day, it can arrange into a blocking or even banning of the google adsense account. So I would say, stop the nonsens clickings.

And about the color thing, To get a lot of clicks on 1 week or so I advice to use Orange and Yellow. I've done it when I started my site, got some days up to xx.xx a day. So that is a good thing, but it will not stay this way, and will act on loosing visitors. So My advice is that if you need to earn that little extra to get a check in, do the Yellow Red colors. For the rest I advice you to use just the colors that blend in with your site. So people think it's a part of your menu or It is your Header or something.
