i like 2 changes that you've made:
1. red headings
2. the white background you've used for the body

something needs to be done to the centimeter-or-so white space (with the little gradient) between the banner and the main body though - i guess it's part of your design but it does look a little out of place...

how about a menu like on the old devdreams design...about 5 links going across that bar. Perhaps even a dhtml dropdown menu or something for compact navigation

not my taste i don't like the dynamic menu and moving stuff... but again, that's just me...

but it would put a lot of links into a small area...meaning more room for other stuff. although I dont think it would be SE friendly

and on that same bar where you might put a menu, there are 2 bugs... There is a little white rectangle at each side.... lol....
Maybe just in Safari...
